North Point Tree
Brookfield properties sought a high impact feature as a centerpiece for Alpharetta Georgia’s North Point Mall revitalization. To create a unique destination, Britelite, in partnership with NatureMaker, created an immersive tree installation for the Center Court of the property. The North Point tree is an ever-changing Illuminated tree with a 30’ canopy, 9,720 leaf assemblies and over 77.000 individually controllable LEDs. The tree features custom designed and manufactured LED leaf and branch fixtures, mounted on a hand-sculpted artisan trunk. Constantly changing visual states make the tree come to life in magical ways, always keeping an element of novelty and surprise for visitors. The tree’s animations are inspired by seasons and holidays, with many different patterns that evoke natural phenomena from blooming flowers and lightning storms, to man-made spectacles like fireworks and sporting events. All these states can be easily controlled and managed through the intuitive LItehouse system.

The Result
The North Point Tree immediately drew people into the courtyard and created unique shareable moments transforming the space into a destination for mall patrons. The tree became a focal point of the mall that delighted visitors and increased dwell time in a previously underutilized area of the property. Litehouse, Britelite's custom control software provided the mall the ability to keep the installation fresh by easily programming new and event specific themes.
